Upfront Pricing & Financing Available
It used to be that if you needed your sewer system repaired, plumbers would have to dig large trenches in your yard and throughout your landscaping to access your pipes. This repair service is extensive, costly, and time-consuming. Fortunately, modern technology has made it so that you can repair and replace pipes within your sewer system without any invasive digging. At Drain Masters, we are proud to offer trenchless sewer repair and replacement services in Anchorage. Trenchless Technique
if there is an existing access point, we don’t have to dig at all. We use hot water, or sometimes steam, to cure the line, allowing us to perform these services year round. The only times we would have to dig any kind of hole or small trench would be to replace a section of collapsed pipe, one with a significant off-set, or one with a belly. We would typically just dig that portion, replace it, and then line the entire sewer line.
Pipe Lining
This method only requires a small access pit to be dug at the end of the pipe in need of repair or replacement. Once there is an entry point, a flexible, resin-coated tube is pushed through your old sewer pipe. Compressed air is blown into the sleeve to press it towards the inside walls of the old pipe. As the resin hardens, it creates a solid pipe within the old one that closely resembles a heavy-duty PVC pipe. Although the new pipe will have a slightly reduced diameter, it is smooth and impenetrable.
Pipe lining can be done in all cases except when the original pipe has collapsed, or sections have become disjointed.
When to Consider Trenchless Sewer Replacement
Now that it is much more convenient and budget-friendly to repair your sewer line, it’s time to start ignoring the signs something is wrong.
A few warning signs that you have a problem with your sewer line include:
-
Foul odors or the smell of sewage emitting from your drains -
The smell of drainage waste is unmistakable. If you notice that their is a lingering foul smell coming from your kitchen sink or even bathroom, you may have a trenchless sewer problem and in need of replacement. -
Random patches of lush grass in your lawn -
If your plumbing system has a considerable crack in it allows the lawn to receive the waste nutrients and grow much greener and much faster. If you notice small patches of very green grass in your yard, it could be due to your trenchless sewer system needing to be replaced or repaired. -
Constant Clogging -
If your drain is being constantly clogged even after repairing it multiple times, it may be time to have a pipe specialist check out the problem. It could be that the pipes are damaged and no amount of repair can keep it working properly.
